WebTo clarify the character of the anticoccidial activity of diclazuril a series of battery trials was conducted. Diclazuril showed excellent anticoccidial activity in the infection of chickens with Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix or E. acervulina at the feeding level of 0.1 ppm. Webreduction in mortalities, lowered number of oocysts and the lesion score, indicating that diclazuril is an effective anticcocidial drug in treatment of E. tenella infection in chickens. Group provided with diclazuril gave significant and satisfactory improvement in the assessment criteria when compared with infected non treated group.
