WebJan 30, 2024 · To have Asterisk enabling CCBS after a CallCompletionRequest the busy device need to answer the SIP INVITE with a 486 Busy Here response. That is, Asterisk have to dial the extension even if it have internally the status "InUse", and the device need to have the "Call Waiting" feature disabled. WebSet the voicemail status field to "Enabled" and enter a (numeric) password, save the configuration and click "Apply Changes" (which should appear on the FreePBX menu bar right after you save the config). The issue is that the tone used may be a reorder (same as congestion) and in some cases a busy. Again, it depends on the provider.
