The radius of a circle is increased by 1
Webb22 aug. 2012 · Obviously the diameter/radius will increase. Not sure by how much though. Do the same thing for a ball the size of the earth. Add 1 meter to the string and (amazingly, at least to me) the increased radius/diameter is the same for a ball the size of the earth as for a small ball held in your hand. WebbIf the radius of the circle is increased by 100% then the area is increased by A 100% B 200% C 300% D 400% Easy Solution Verified by Toppr Correct option is C) Let the radius of circle is r Then area of circle= πr 2 If radius increased 100% then new radius= r× 100200=2r Then area of new circle= π(2r) 2=4πr 2 Then increased in area =4πr 2−πr … WebbLet the radius of original circle =r∴ Area of original circle =πr 2But, the radius of the circle is increased by 20%∴ Radius of new circle R= 10020r+r=1.2rArea of new circle =πR 2=π(1.2r) 2=1.44πr 2Increased area =1.44πr 2−πr 2=0.44πr 2Percentage increase in area = πr 20.44πr 2×100=44%.
Webb18 aug. 2024 · radius of circle is increased by 1% so, new radius of circle , R' = R + 1% of R = 1.01R area of circle, A' = πR'² = π (1.01R)² = 1.0201πR² hence, percentage change in area of circle = change in area of circle/initial area of circle × 100 = (1.0201πR² - πR²)/πR² × 100 = (0.0201)πR²/πR² × 100 = 2.01 % hence, option (D) is correct choice. Webb28 okt. 2024 · Let the initial radius be 10 Initial Area= π × (radius) 2 ⇒ π × (10) 2 = 100π According to question: 1% of 10 = 0.1 New radius of the circle = 10 + 0.1 = 10.1 New area = π × (radius) 2 ⇒ π × (10.1) 2 ⇒ 102.01π Increased in circumference = 102.01π – 100π = 2.1π Percentage increase in the percentage of circumference = (2.01π / 100π ) × 100 = …

However, this initially downstream movement slows down and ultimately reverses beyond a critical …
Webb22 mars 2024 · ⇒ Area of the original circle = π r 2 Now, let us assume the radius of the new circle as R, it is said that the radius is increased by 40% so mathematically we have the new radius given as: - ⇒ R = r + (40% of r) ⇒ R = r + ( 40 100 × r) ⇒ R = 7 r 5 Therefore using the formula for the area of the circle in this case we have Area = π R 2, so we get,
